Dev confirms no battlefuck mechanics, only defeat scenes and a 'relationship system' for more consensual stuff. My interest plummeted by about 75%, hope he at least adds side jobs like the masseuse one...Minus the bugs.
EDIT: Forget the side jobs, it's a male MC game lol.

EDIT: I edited my post cause I made it while I was half-asleep and couldn't fathom that this game was a male protag game, my brain just couldn't process that fact, assumed it'd be female protag just like Saria.

And 8 heroines. Well, with the classic formula of grind, lose game over HCG, rinse and repeat setup it's unlikely this project will fail unless he just loses interest in it. The difficulty is definitely the easiest of all the H game formulas out there, outside of copy and paste mundane gameplay shit like poker or bejeweled lol. The dating sim elements might be fun, though if it's just vanilla then any spices like ntr is also out the window sadly. The next H game sounds like good teething for the future. Granted if this is all we can expect from now on... Well, there's certainly no shortage of this formula so it would be nice if he just did art commissions again for us too.

so his next game is a MC male to gather more harem girls? interesting and disappointing at the same time, he change it with no battlefuck mechanic, this is likely velminth is going to be history of dirty hentai devs(sounds like sidalpha gamer from youtube who exposes shitty devs from dirty indie devs) and its gonna add in my dirty dev laundry list.

Beyond the fact that it's your typical harem-building male MC game, Velma stated there'd be defeat scenes.
My question is this: The enemies he'd already shown are clearly male, and the MC is also male, so the defeat scenes are going to be Male x Male? Or is it going to be femdom somehow?
It's just going to be "your girl gets graped because you lost the fight" situation, much too common in this genre.

aw, kinda a shame, in battle sex is something not nearly done enough, and saria had an interesting idea for it, with not just being able to raise an enemy's lust, but specifically also your lust, and lust for specific parts. you weren't stuck blowing enemy 2 because that's the only animation associated with enemy 2.

i mean, if it's a fairly comprehensive list of games on this site of a certain category...
a LOT of them are going to be like, shovelware quality. true of a lot of things, really. the top 5-10% is great, 30% is pretty mid, and 60% just sucks.
and saria was pretty great, before the revamp. even the card idea, i could potentially see where it was going, it just wasn't implemented good, and then got dropped because people had the audacity to go 'dude, it's kinda fucked'
but, at the same time, it's not like it needs to be great to sprout wood. even if it's only for a session or two, might be worth checking out some meh titles.
found two that, uh, sparked interest. only got through to the f of the female lead category, too.

since no one answered you, and i noticed - you don't really need saves, man.
there's a cheat menu to unlock the sex initialization cards, and you can also unlock the gallery scenes for the game over and city job scenes, and you can even teleport to the city too.
Honestly, BF games are actually a genre that's an unpolished gem, majority of said games are lacking, and then you have stuff like Karryn's Prison (The current best BattleFuck game, and will be for a long time), Monster Girl Dreams, Saria Reclaimed (what it could've been), or if you swing towards futas and traps, Tales of Androgyny (the main downside is that 90% of the content is with MC as a sub)...
In text based games, you have Fenoxo titles, such as Trials in Tainted Space aka TiTS, or Corruption of Champions 2 aka CoC 2. One that's also slowly building a name for itself is Lilith's Throne...
